The West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing (WSFSSH) was selected by NYCHPD to redevelop four parcels on the north side of West 108th Street between Columbus Avenue and Amsterdam Avenue in the Manhattan Valley neighborhood. The development consists of 281 affordable residential units (including supportive housing) , 31,000 square feet of transitional housing for older adults with approximately 110 shelter beds, and 6,400 square feet of other community facility uses. The development is located on a site previously occupied by WSFSSH's Valley Lodge shelter as well as three city-owned parcels which were previously used as public parking garages. PHA prepared an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the project pursuant to CEQR.
