The Edge

The Edge is a one million square foot mixed-use development on the East River waterfront in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with a mix of mid-rise buildings and high-rise towers. The development includes 1,000 residential units, 100,000 square feet of retail, and parking for over 1,000 vehicles. It also includes an internal circulation system with three new public streets, as well as a waterfront esplanade along the East River, with a recreational and water taxi pier.

PHA provided site civil services for the development, including grading for the public open spaces, the design of sewers, water mains, and other utilities, as well as the development of the on-site parking plan in each building. The firm was also responsible for providing resident engineering construction inspection services for streets, sanitary/storm sewers, water mains, gas mains, and street lighting construction as well as obtaining all related agency approvals.
