Restaurant Depot Expansion

Restaurant Depot constructed a 40,000 square foot expansion (115,000 sf total) to their restaurant supply wholesale facility in Maspeth adjacent to Newtown Creek and added parking for a total of 324 spaces. PHA reconfigured the parking layout and onsite truck route to the loading dock to minimize customer and delivery conflicts. PHA provided civil engineering services to extend the 57th Avenue DOT roadway/sidewalk, DEP water main, and DEP storm sewer approximately 800 linear feet east to provide full street frontage for Restaurant Depot and access to previously undeveloped lots. Tasks also included design of the erosion and sediment control plan, storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP), and grading/drainage plan.
