PHA provided traffic and civil engineering services for the redevelopment of the former Domino Sugar site in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The site consists of two parcels along Kent Avenue, just north of the Williamsburg Bridge. The development includes five buildings, with approximately 600,000 square feet of commercial development, 2,800 apartments, and a six-acre public park. PHA was responsible for the design of on-site roadways extending the street grid, utilities, site grading and drainage, builders pavement plans, and maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) plans. The firm also prepared the Technical Memorandum that was required under City Environmental Quality Review (CEQR).
