ANDREAS NAUGHTON, P.E.
Mr. Naughton has over 17 years of experience in civil and traffic engineering. He is currently providing civil and traffic engineering services related to the Pier 57 project in Manhattan. He is also providing civil engineering services for NYCDDC’s Baruch Plaza development on East 25th Street between Third and Lexington Avenues in Manhattan.
Mr. Naughton is providing civil engineering services for Phase V of Riverside South Park in Manhattan. Tasks include preparation of grading plans, drainage plans, construction phasing, utility design and bikeway design.
Mr. Naughton was the civil engineer for the Public Safety Answering Center (PSAC) II 911 call center, currently under construction in the Bronx. Efforts for this project included the design of site geometrics, site grading, drainage, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control. Due to the extensive utility requirements and limited access for this site, this project also involved significant utility design and coordination efforts. Security was also a key design issue for this critical public facility.
Mr. Naughton served as the project manager for the Ridge Hill Village Center in Yonkers, New York. This mixed-use project involved extensive off-site improvements, including a new highway interchange with the New York State Thruway and a roadway access network in an area of challenging topography. Mr. Naughton was responsible for horizontal and vertical geometry, grading, signal design, maintenance and protection of traffic, utility design and stormwater management.
Mr. Naughton also provided civil engineering services for 7 World Trade Center, which included extensive utility design and coordination.
Previous projects include the Site 23/24 athletic fields in Battery Park City, including the development of grading and drainage plans. Mr. Naughton also served as the project engineer for the Gateway Center project in Brooklyn, where he had primary responsibility for the development of design plans for the new Erskine Street interchange with the Shore Parkway.
