PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Piers 92-94 are located on Manhattan’s West Side, between West 52nd and West 54th Streets. Vornado is planning to double the capacity of the existing Piers 92-94 trade show space to accommodate larger and more frequent trade shows as well as a winter garden, integrating the pier with the adjacent Hudson River Park.

PHA prepared a transportation forecast including data collection and interviews as well as physical planning for the drop-off, loading, and overall transportation management operations for the expanded facility. The redesigned circulation system includes an indoor loading facility with increased capacity as well as the ability to store crates and packing material to shorten show mounting times and significantly reduce pier dark times.
